The Studio
Spirit & Frame is a digital memory studio devoted to preserving everyday life with intention. It is the culmination of a lifelong impulse to gather moments, honor them, and provide a sacred place for them to live.
When I was a child, my favorite thing to do was sit with photo albums — slowly turning pages, studying faces, and tracing moments that existed before I could name them. As a teenager, that instinct turned into practice: curating albums for myself, my friends, and my family. That reverence never left.
Today, I choose to work with the photographs you already have, transforming them into curated keepsakes that feel warm, lived-in, and worthy of being passed down. This work is rooted in community, family, and legacy.
It specifically honors the way memory lives in indigenous and native households and cultures: layered, joyful, imperfect, sacred.
Our studio remains faceless by design. The focus of this work must be entirely on the families, stories, and histories we are entrusted to preserve. By removing a specific face from the studio’s brand, we ensure that it is the “Spirit” of your curated legacy that always takes center stage. My role is to provide the “Frame” for your history to safely exist.

Send us your digital files or physical prints. We handle everything with archival care from the moment we receive them.
Your finished capsule arrives — physical and digital. A keepsake built to outlast the moment, packaged with the same intention as the work inside.
Before You Begin
Do I need professional photos?
Not at all. We work with what you have — camera roll photos, old prints, scanned negatives. The imperfect ones are often the most sacred.
How long does a capsule take?
Most capsules are completed within 2–4 weeks of receiving your materials. Rush turnaround is available as an add-on.
What if I have thousands of photos?
That is exactly what we are here for. Curation is at the heart of every capsule — we find the Spirit within the volume.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 25% deposit reserves your place in the queue. The remaining balance is due before delivery. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically secure a spot.

There is a photograph in your camera roll right now that you have scrolled past a hundred times. Slightly blurry, maybe. The lighting is off. Someone’s eyes are closed. You have never deleted it. You have never done anything with it. And yet — it is still there. I think about why we keep the imperfect ones. I think it is because imperfection is the texture of a real moment. The perfect photograph is a portrait. The imperfect one is evidence.

In every family there is someone who can still name the faces in the oldest photographs. They know which cousin that is, and why she looks sad in that one, and what happened the summer that photo was taken. When they go, that knowledge goes with them — unless someone asked. Unless someone wrote it down. The urgency of this work is not about albums. It is about the window that is still open.
